Dermal Fillers

Here at Bluegrass Vein and Aesthetic Center, we offer dermal fillers to help define facial contours, plump thin lips, smooth wrinkles and restore lost volume beneath the skin.

Our dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid which keeps the skin appearing hydrated, full and plump. As we age, our faces naturally lose subcutaneous fat. With fat loss, we lose facial volume and our facial muscles work closer to the skin making fine lines more apparent.

Since our fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid, they will be absorbed over time making it necessary to repeat the procedure to maintain the desired effect. Lasting effect will depend on the filler material and the area where the filler is being injected.

Dermal fillers do offer little to no downtime although it is common to experience bruising and swelling. The results are immediate and can easily be combined with some of our other aesthetic services.
